Colombian buñoelina is a flour premix for buñuelos, a common Colombian sweet treat. The mixture helps simplify the preparation of buñuelos, which are fritters made with cheese, cassava flour, and corn flour. This fictional project was a rebrand of their packaging to give it a fun and modern look and feel. The final design uses bold type, strong colors and a cartoon-type figure.

Initial Drafts

This design didn’t really have many changes from the original draft. The original mockup had a good feel, fun and tasty. Compared to the original design, the new one definitely seemed like a good fit for the type of product.

Final Draft

I didn’t change much from the original version. The only couple of things that were mentioned were to make the background something other than white and to make the figure more cartoonish. It definitely looks more realistic to me now.
